Adding an Image to the Shopping Cart?

What is the best way to add an image to the shopping cart Checkout page? I would like to add an
image to the right of the credit card payment information.

You will want to do this in the template itself. Go to Merchandising > Custom Templates > Shopping Cart, and make a copy of the ShopSite template that you are using. Once you have made a copy you can go in and make changes to it. Find in the HTML where the payment information is listed within the DEFINE SHIPPING section of the template (second section). If you save changes in your template, you can preview your template. If it is setup the way you want, you can choose your template rather than the current template by going to Commerce Setup > Order System > Layout Info. Your custom/modified template will be listed at the bottom of the template pull down menu.

Make sure that any images/css/javascript/etc that you add onto the checkout screen, confirmation screen or thank you screen is using your secure URL.
