Gift Certificate Message

I have a Gift Certificate set up in ShopSite 8, which gets emailed to the
recipient. The issue is the message field when filled in by the sender
isn't being translated into the email that the recipient receives. Using
both the default template and a custom template has netted the same results.
The message appears in the Customer receipt, but the email the Recipient
receives only says "Email sent from Shopping Basket" where the personal
message should be The template tag I am using is [-- GiftCert_Message --]
Anybody know why this is and how I could fix it? Or what I am doing wrong?

This bug was reported a short time ago and will be fixed in the next
patch release. (I don't know a time frame on this but shouldn't be to
long.)

The correct message is included if you send the gift certificate from
the View Orders screen instead of having it sent automatically. You
could temporarily disable the automatic sending of the gift certificate
until the patch is available and send them from the orders screen.
