Is there a means of requiring a user to login to view pricing information?
Please advise.

Put the static HTML files in a password-protected directory.

this would work, but it will require the user to have two passwords. We
are using the user registration under Shopsite 8.0 Pro.

I am thinking that something can be done using Javascript. I am not sure
how to implement.

I found a more efficient method of requiring login. I setup PHP to parse
all pages. I then read $_COOKIE variable to grab login name, group, and
logged in information. Using this information, I then redirect to login
pages if conditions are not met. I placed this code on the page template I
use to place products.

Dennis,

Is this something that would be possible for someone who is not a PHP
programmer to do? I need to do the exact same thing. I want customers
to have to login before they go to product pages, but using the Shopsite
user registration.

Is there any way you could give me simple instructions of how to
implement this in my store? I'm trying to detmerine whether I'm going
to use Shopsite, and this is the make-break for me.

Thanks,

Philip
