"error - no store id"

Hi,

I don't know the details yet, but I have a customer who emailed me that
he's seeing "error - no store id" when trying to order. Does that ring
a bell? (I've had plenty of successful orders in the last couple of days,
and haven't changed anything in Shopsite.)

I'm hoping to get the customer to let me know more about it.

Does this error ring a bell?

This usually happens when you go to one of the shopping cart cgis
directly instead of passing all the required parameters. Something like
http://domain_name.com/cgi-bin/sc/order.cgi.
instead of
http://domain_name.com/cgi-bin/sc/order ... nction=add

If you are using custom templates make sure that you are building the
URLs correctly. This might also be caused by firewalls that aren't
allowing the referrer information to be passed.

Try to get more information from the shopper to see if you can narrow
down what they are doing to experience the problem. You might also
check out the ShopSite Knowledgebase to see what articles there have to
