One way would be to include the tax in the ticket price. You could mark
the tickets as non taxable under Edit Product Info so they won't have
additional tax added in the shopping cart. Set the Price as the base
ticket cost and the on sale price as the price including tax. You would
probably want to change the On Sale price text to something like Price
including Taxes. You might want to use a custom template for this if
you use the On Sale for other products. Then Check the Edit Product
Layout field "On Sale Toggle" so the sale price will be displayed on the
page. Add a comment in the ticket description that the price in the
shopping cart will include all applicable taxes.

I have a site for a studio located in New York, we sell cd's dv's t-shirts
and mugs. Because we are located in New York we charge tax to NY residence
only by zip code and that works fine. We also sell tickets to concerts that
we hold at the studio in NY. I'm am told we must charge tax to all ticket
holders regardless where they live because the venue is in NY.
Question.. How can I do this, all I can come up with is every pays tax or no
one pays tax.. Would I have to get a second store??
Thanks,
