Product Search

Hi all,

I've have a store already designed using the shopsite order anywhere
process. Now, I find I need a search engine for my products.

I want to know if I use shopsite search tool can it be setup to link to my
products on their current pages?

If you have ShopSite Pro v6.3 or newer it can. In each product's Edit
Product Info section there is a Search Destination setting. Set the
radio button to the text field and provide the full http:// URL to your
page where the product is located.

Note that you will have to have at least one ShopSite Page record where
the 'Product Search Field' and 'Index' checkboxes are checked so that
the products will be indexed for search when you Publish, but you do not
have to link to this page from your site. You can also view the HTML
source of this ShopSite-generated page to get the HTML for the search
form to include on your own pages.

Thanks Loren for the help. Though it seems because I have Shopsite manager I
can't use the Search Destination setting. I can't afford to upgrade to the
Pro version right now.

If there is any other way for me to do this, or if someone knows a good
search script that I could use. I would be forever grateful.

We've developed a search, but unfortunately it is only for Shopsite Pro. An
