Creidt Card Info Disappears

In the checkout form, is there a way to keep the credit card information
from disappearing each time an address correction is made or shipping zip
code is changed or other things like that?

We have had complaints from our customers that it is a pain to re-enter the
billing info each time they make a mistake.

For security purposes the credit card information is not kept around once
the shopper leaves the billing page. It is a bit of an inconvenience but
that is typically the price of security.
