Secure Shopping Cart and Cross Sell image problem

I have been trying to get ShopSite's cross sell ability to work with my secure (ssl) shopping cart.
But when I turn it on, Micro$soft's browser says: "this site contains both secure and nonsecure content".

I suspect the trouble is Cross sell's image link which looks like this:

src="http://www.mysite.com/fish/media/magstick.gif"


On my hosting services page, I have:
SSL Security Settings.
check in Use SSL security in Shopping Cart

Shopping Cart Secure URL: https://www.....
Secure Store URL: https://www....

Under store settings,

ShopSite Images URL is http://140.172.xx.133/ssm_images
Merchant CGIs Url is http://www.....
Shopping Cart CGI URL is https://www......



I suspect that if I could change the Shopsite Images URL to https:/www.mysite.../ssm_images Things might start working properly.
But since I can't change that in the browser interface, I would need to edit the ss/mysite.aa file line that currently
looks like :
image_url: http://140.172.xx.133/ssm_images

If I edit that file, will it work.? Or will it blow up my Shopsite and force into early retirement and financial destitution??

Or do I need to order a new file from Shopsite.??
(PS.. I keep hanging up on web server companies and shopping cart salespeople 'cause Shopsite has had great technical support for 17 years. Unless they fire Loren and Jim, I'll kept buying new versions of Shopsite.)
