Store Generation Problems

We have a client who uses SS5.0.0 Pro, and when they click the update
button after editing an item (just adding a period to the description),
the cart does an "INDEX ALL" and not just re-generating that particular
product page, and a partial index, as others do. Is there a setting I
can check so that the cart doesn't do a full index unless its needed?

Try going to Utilities -> Publish and doing a full Regenerate. Make sure
that there aren't any errors on the results screen and that at the
bottom when it is done it says Generation successful.

If it does all that, then try editing one product and clicking the
Publish tab again and see if it fixed the problem. You might also check
the ftp site for patches to the initial v5 release, and consider
upgrading to v5.0.1.
