Problems processing Credit Card Orders through Verisign

Hello All,

I am experiencing credit card processing errors with ShopSite today--in the
past few hours. We are using version SC Manager 4.3. The error message is:

begin error message

Credit Card Processing Error
Your order was not processed

There was a problem processing your credit card information.
Please verify that the following were entered correctly:

Zip Code
Card Number
Expiration Date

If you repeatedly see this message, complete your order by contacting the
merchant directly.

Detailed error message: If you are running into a lot of problems using our
ordering system, please call us directly using our Toll Free
No. 1-888-810-8296. Thank you!

109: (#11300019) Message not found in table
VSMA04089306
Timeout waiting for Host response

end error message

I have tried a valid card and this is what I keep getting, and what my
customers are getting. Has anyone else experienced this today?

Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated!

Hello everyone,

This problem has mysteriously disappeared. The only thing I can come up with
is that it was a temporary outage at VeriSign.

George,

It was a temporary outage with Verisign. Do you know how to put your order
system on manual? This is important because if it is on automatic when
there is a Verisign outage no one can place an order. On the other hand, if
you switch to manually process orders then people can place an order and you
will have to go into Verisign and manually bill it when their server is back
up and running. Hope this helps.
