Customer registration problem

One of my client's customers sent the following message (reading in part):

"I tried to sign in a few times but I get the error message saying I need to
adjust my cookie in order to registered. My cookie setting was not the
problem.

I hope you fix it soon so I can order online again."

I also understand that a few other customers have complained about being
kicked off of the order page.

It may be best to contact the customer directly to find out how their
browser is set up, the steps they are actually following and so, on to see
if I can figure out what's happening to them. But first, I would like to
know if anyone has any suggestions about things I need to check on. Or if
anyone else has had a similar experience.

Would appreciate any assistance.
