Greetings;

We are considering Shopsite, and would like to learn when the inventory is
adjusted.

We sell items that are often one-of-a-kind, with quantities of only 1 or 2.
Because of this, we wrote our current shopping cart system to adjust
'available inventory' whenever someone places an item in their shopping
cart. If we didn't do this, items would be routinely sold out from under
someone that had just placed it in their cart but had not yet closed out.

Of course, such aggressive inventory control also necessitates that we
continually (and automatically) monitor open shopping carts. We
automatically expire them after xx hours and return the unpurchased stock to
'available inventory'.

Is this feature available, and if not, any ideas on what is needed to make
it so in Shopsite?
