Changing Order Number Series

Currently our ShopSite and Order Manager orders have numbers which are in
the same series. I.E. 25000

I'd like to change one or the other so that they are not in the same series.
I.E. I want one in the 25000 series and one in 35000.

Any recommendations on which one should be changed (or which one should
not)?

In my server the file you are looking for is /data/ordernum. This is where
you can set the Shopsite order number. In Order manager, you can change the
last number in 3 tables - Orders - Order Details and Transactions. One you
change the last number, they will pick the next number automatically.
