Format Search Results

I am creating my first website with custom templates and it is almost complete. www.affordable-megafood.com
I would like to know how/where to format the search results.
I currently have a 3 column layout for results (which is exactly what I want), but I would like to move the SKU to the top of the listing, change the font size of the Product Name, put Reg. Price: in front of the retail price and then add a <BR>, move the Add to Cart button to the left, etc...

What is best way to do this?

Check Preferences > Search Settings > Search Layout > Product Template Override . Is the checkbox checked? If so it will use the template specified in the list box just below the checkbox. That would be the template you need to modify for the results that show on the search results page.

If the checkbox isn't checked then the product template for the individual products will be used.
