Custom Shopping Cart Template and Certificate Errors

I have created a custom shopping cart template. When accessing it in IE8, I get security certificate errors. The images that are being displayed are located in my media directory which I am referencing in the template using this path/syntax: "https://mysite.com/store/media/imagefilename".

This is my first time working with ShopSite and I am not very familiar with the secure world. Am I pointing to the wrong directory for the files? Should I not have "https"?

The background image comes up fine using the above path...but the other images don't. I customized some of the buttons using a path not on shopsite but on the regular website. Since they are then referenced using Shopsite tags, they also display fine...

Am I making sense?

It might not be images that are causing the problem, It could be javascript, css or any other file that is accessed non-securely.

The secure url for the images can vary depending on where your store is hosted and how they have things configured. Also if you are using a shared secure certificate that will change how things need to be addressed.

If you post a link to the site it might be easier to see where the problem is occurring.

Okay, the site is not in production yet (obviously). Thanks for taking a look at it. This is only happening in IE8 and Opera, not Firefox. Chrome - no images display but no certificate error.

I realized the background is not displaying either.
