Links inside Flash inside custom templates don't work

I have a Flash menu that I've added to the shopping cart template. The animation and sounds work fine, but none of the links work. The links work fine when I use the Flash menu on static pages of my site. Is there anything that Shopsite or the template is doing that would disable these links?

Note that Shopping cart, search, customer registration, gift certificate screens are generated by cgis and are not static html. They are also served up from the shopping cart cgi directory, normally named 'sc', Since they come from the sc directory, links must be complete urls and not relative as they can be on html pages. So make sure you are specifying the full url for any links.
