cross sell product link

Right now when someone clicks on the product link in the cross sell area they are taken to a search page....is there a way we can change that so when the link is clicked for that product it will actually take them to the actual product page?

Also, is there a way to add a quantity field to the cross sell items?

On the configuration screen under Merchandising > Cross-Sell there is an option to set the destination of the link. It can be to no destination, the MoreInfo page, a Search page or to a page that ShopSite will create on the fly (you can't customise this one so I wouldn't use it)

It depends on where the Cross-sell items are being displayed if you can add the quantity or not. The use of a quantity field requires a form to submit the item to the cart. If the page the cross-sell items are on contains a form and the cross-sell items are within that form then you will not be able to add the quantity to the cross-sell. If the cross-sell are displayed outside of the form then you could modify the cross-sell template to include a form submit with a quantity field.
