How to get work out of demo into production

I have been doing some work in one of the demo systems and now want to get it out of the demo system into our production system. What is the best way to do that?

What information do you need to move?
For Pages and Products use the Utilities > Database > Download from the demo store and Utilites > Database >Upload in the other store.
For templates it should be easy to open the template in the demo store in one browser, copy the contents and paste it to a template of the same name in the other store.
If you have modified color settings, header, footer, text messages you will need to copy those from the demo to the the live store using copy and paste.

It might be possible to use the Utilities >Export Store got get most settings files, templates, pages, products etc but you need to have access to your live store via ssh or ftp so that you can unzip the export data and copy it to the live store. To do that the stores must also be running the same version of ShopSite.

There isn't an easy way to get the images from one store to the other but since you uploaded them to the demo store you probably have them on your local computer so you should be able to upload them again to the live store.
