Anyone know how to create a quantity percentage discount for items purchased that belong to a specific product group?? I have many items in a product group, each at a different price, and would like to offer a percentage off when three or more different items are purchased.

Pro level stores have the quantity group pricing option. You create a group and assign the products you want to be in the group. Then you set the Quantity Pricing table up to match the discount rate that you want to give when a certain number of products are purchase. This must be a specific price, not a percentage.

The fields are found on Products > Edit Product Info in the Quantity Pricing section. You can create the groups by clicking the link on the Quantity Pricing Group: section or by going to Merchandising Tools > Discounts > Quantity Groups .

When this feature is enabled all items that are in the Quantiy Group will be combined to meet the quantity value required to get a certain price. So it would be best to have items that are fairly similar in price so someone doesn't by 5 items that cost a dollar and get a large discount on something that cost say 25 dollars.
