ShopSite® 64-bit Pro 15.0 r3 quirks

Postby gourmetdelights » Wed Oct 30, 2024 12:16 pm

I just upgraded to ShopSite® 64-bit Pro 15.0 r3, hosted by Lexiconn (GREAT host by the way if anyone is looking for a host)

Two notes/quirks:

1. When looking at ShopSite > Products > List of Products the "On Sale" toggle is ON if the checkmark is neutral GREY and OFF when it is bright BLUE. This is the exact opposite of the color scheme when looking at ShopSite > Products > Edit Product Layout

Please make it consistent. Bright Blue would be "ON" and the more neutral grey would be "OFF" like it was in the past

2. when looking at ShopSite > Pages > Arrange Items we have lost the (x) which tells us which products are disabled. That was a very useful visual cue because I'm fine having a disabled product near the top but without the (x) I look and say "hey I think I don't have that anymore why is it at the top of my product list"

Thanks for your time and attention to these two items.

Another quirk, is that it ALWAYS creates resized images when you upload a new image.

It does not matter if the checkbox is checked or not.

It does not matter if I upload one or multiple images.

It does not matter if I "Select Files" with the button or if I "drag and drop"

For registered customers, the Password Retry Count is ALWAYS at zero

I set up an account, typed in a BUNCH of wrong passwords, and the Password Retry Count stayed zero

It also did not show the Account Status to be "locked" even after a dozen missed attempts
