Does ShopSite still remember credit card detail entered as part of customer registration?

If it does, will this continue given the tightening expected in PCI compliance?

The merchant can enable the shopper to select whether they want to save their payment information or not. If this option is enabled then the shopper chooses whether to save it or not. The ShopSite security level will not be the highest level if this option is enabled. If you are concerned about PCI compliance I would not enable the the option for shoppers to make the choice.

If you are using a payment gateway such as Authorize.net You can set ShopSite to not store the credit card information at all since you can modify any transactions on your Payment gateways interface without having to know what the credit card number is.
