I do not think ShopSite has any kind of order status system yet. However, if
you or your client use the Stone Edge Order Manager
(
www.StoneEdge.com/OrderManager.htm), we also have a Web-based Order Status
System that is very powerful, and will work with not only ShopSite orders,
but also with those that arrive via phone, fax, etc. and are entered
manually into the Order Manager. The Order Status System will also track
events such as adding a shipper's tracking number, filling a backorder, etc.
that would be difficult to keep updated in ShopSite, but can be handled
automatically and in real-time with the Order Manager.
A few quick facts about the Order Manager:
* We recently received a 5-Star rating from About ECommerce

* One of our users recently had their first 1,000 order day!
* The price of the Order Manager will increase to $995 on December 15, 2003.

Has ShopSite added Customer account integration into it's product yet?
For example, if a customer places an order, can that customer log back
in and check the status of their order. I am in the process of putting
another web site together and this feature could be the deal breaker if
it has not been implemented yet.
